If you didn't already know, two Ladywooders, Hannah and Rachel, have relocated to the beautiful Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Why? Because it's the best. Buzzing with life, creativity and good music, Rio has it all, and Projeto Apero was a testament to this. The event was located at a beautiful contemporary art museum, Casa Daros, and from the moment you walked in, you knew it was going to be a good night. The people were smiling and laughing, the beers were cold and the DJ's were spinning some very different music. My ears were loving the tribal sounds, but my body was slightly confused as to how to dance to it at first. It didn't take long until the crowd found the beat and let the music take over their souls. The two DJ's that stood out were Argentina's Barrio Lindo and Rio's own Felipe Sa. These two guys are very talented and both incorporate south american rhythms into their music. I love it. I love Rio. Looking forward to future events brought to you by Apero. Cheers, H.
