Loving the wispy and dreamlike song by Chelsea Lankes, reminds me a bit of Alice in Wonderland for some reason. And for all you free music buffs out there it's got a free download too!

Hey guys here's a youtube playlist for your listening pleasure. Check out our new YouTube channel and subscribe here !
Hey ladywooders, just a reminder to follow us on Hype Machine! It's a great music sharing medium that keeps track of what music bloggers are writing about on the internet. They handpick a set of kickass music blogs and then present what they discuss for easy analysis, consumption and discovery. We were lucky enough to be featured on the front page a few times this year, so click over and follow us there too. Since we don't have a playlist (its in the works! ) you can follow us on Hype machine and listen to all the great music we've written about there. Download the Hype App Here to follow us on your mobile too. That way you're never too far from some Ladywood magic :)
Thanks for listening and reading everyone, we love you all!!
Listen up Ladywooders. So the Dalai Lama was asked what surprised him the most; he said:
"Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his healthy.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
The result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
He lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived"
Life is too short to not pursue your passions. That is exactly why Norwegian-based Swedish producer and sound designer, Crussen, got a Master's degree in Popular Music Production from Kingston University, London... so he could follow his dream to become a badass artist in the house music space. His edits and mixtapes are bomb, so check em out here. Keep up the good work sir!
The Calgary Collection is an exploration of folk music. Through anecdotes, acoustic performances, and opinions of Calgary's brightest musicians, The Calgary Collection answers the question "what is folk music?" Created by Mike Tod and Gillian McKercher, The Calgary Collection is made for music enthusiasts and casual listeners alike by showing folk music's importance in our social history.
Every day for 1 week, from October 19th until October 26th, The Calgary Collection is releasing a new 5 minute video that features a local folk musician. The Calgary Collection gives a voice to the underground folk music scene and provides a platform for Calgarians to connect with these exceptionally talented artists. This project reminds me how important it is that we continue to support the local music and arts scene right here in Calgary, and that's why I was so happy that Nenshi got voted in as Mayor again because we both share this opinion. So, get off your couch, and get involved in you community by supporting local artists and checking out some live music this weekend. I promise you won't regret it.
Ps. for an awesome up-to-date calendar of ALL live performances happening in Calgary, check out: YYC Shows!
